This resort concept sought to bring our Client's favorite South Beach vibes to the desert. A series of outdoor rooms were designed to be usable year-round, each flowing into the next while still creating intimacy and seclusion. This ensures that both large parties and intimate gatherings can take place.
Expansive pavilions provide shade and establish scale in the large courtyard. A multi-function event lawn includes a hidden movie screen for the latest premiere. The pools offer multiple in and out of water experiences - soak up the sun or slip into the dappled shade of a cabana - your choice.
Elysian at Flamingo

One of The Calida Group's most successful luxury multifamily developments, Elysian at Flamingo redefines what it means to live in an apartment in Las Vegas. From the moment you set foot on property, a visitor (or tenant) feels as though they have been transported to a boutique resort tucked away near the Las Vegas strip.
Bespoke amenities, luxe details, and comfort abound in the large central courtyard space. The centerpiece of the entire community, and the jewel of the courtyard is the swimming pool - which eschews the typical rectangle and instead creates an aquatic experience for lounging like no other - all centered around a sculptural shade element and plush seating

Tanager ECHO, Downtown Summerlin, Las Vegas, NV
Marketed as the "Encore" to the Tanager Luxury Apartment development, Howard Hughes Corporation sought to create a more intimate and upscale addition to the Downtown Summerlin residential scene. Sited to maximize views of the strip, the soaring building commands attention while at the same time sheltering away its chic clientele.
The property is adorned with upscale resort amenities such as imported cabanas, trellised outdoor living spaces, and cozy fire features ensuring there's something for all residents to enjoy year round. The property grounds are landscaped in Howard Hughes Corp's signature desert lush style, which blends in with Downtown Summerlin's larger overall theme.
Cliff View
Cliff View Residence, Summerlin, Las Vegas, NV
Sited in a small enclave of 85 homesites within The Cliffs village in Summerlin, this hillside home is oriented directly toward a panoramic view of the Las Vegas Valley. It was our task to create a space that focused on this view and reflected the opulence of the vista below.
The Client desired an outdoor experience that would be an extension of their home and a reflection of their personal taste. As a former owner of a winery, the Client was no stranger to the beautiful landscapes of wine country, and wanted their home to feel as though it had been plucked from a Mediterranean hillside villa, overlooking the vineyards below. Flowering perennials, olive trees, and ornamental grasses lend a soft touch to the expansive entertainment deck.
Springacre Drive
Springacre Drive Residence, The Ridges, Las Vegas
One of my earlier professional works, this home sought to envelope the new home in a soft Mediterranean-style landscape with striking focal features.
The front yard is flanked by large Swan Hill Olive trees and feather grasses with a sculptural steel planter box at center, adorned with a gracefully arching agave centerpiece.
The rear and side yards feature a two-tiered swimming pool and spa and large custom fireplace surrounded by lush Carolina Cherry Laurel and Magnolia trees.
Elysian at Tivoli
Elysian at Tivoli Village, Las Vegas, NV
A counterpart to the the nearby Tivoli Village, Elysian at Tivoli Village draws inspiration instead from French Chateau architecture and the Gardens of Versailles. Adorned with lush Mediterranean plantings such as Italian Cypress, French Lavender, and Rosemary, the central pool courtyard is a fragrant oasis for the delight of its residents. Unique patterned artificial turf was used to mimic the ornate Parterre Gardens often found in European landscapes. The whole space is tied together by an allée of potted orange trees - yes, you can pick them!
